State school teachers, leaders and support staff across England can now access two brilliant MTPT opportunities, fully-funded by our Teaching School Hub partners.

Thanks to a collaborative effort from Teaching School Hubs across the country, parent-teachers can now access The MTPT Project’s Return to Work workshops and Parental Leave group coaching programmes free of charge!

Our Parental Leave Group Coaching cohorts run four times a year, running seasonally in the autumn, winter, spring and summer.  Here, educators meet with a small cohort of up to 10-25 participants to explore key themes relevant to the parental leave period, using coaching tools to explore their current context and their goals for the future.  All three sessions are run virtually on Zoom, and participants can join at any point during their maternity, adoption or shared parental leave.

Our Return to Work workshops are for colleagues as they are preparing to to step back into school, and run seven times a year, just ahead of the start of a holiday period.  We share your legal entitlements as returning parents, and share tips and strategies for maintaining a sense of balance and control both at home and at work over the big changes that accompany a return from maternity, adoption or shared parental leave.  You’ll be joining anywhere between 15-40 other returning parents, offering you a sense of community, encouragement and confidence.

Funding is due to continue into the next academic year (2024-25) and the easiest way to find out the date of your upcoming coaching cohort or workshop is to follow us on Eventbrite where we host all of our events.

These brilliant opportunities have only been made possible by the commitment and hard work of our Teaching School Hub partners, more than 40 of whom contributed on behalf of the parent-teachers in their region in the academic year 2023-24.  Can you spot your local hub logo below and give them a big shout out on social media or in person next time you see them?!
