Representing Women: On Page and Screen

English and Media teachers – you’ll get a warm welcome from our West London Regional Representative, Myfanwy Edwards at LATE’s upcoming conference, Representing Women: On Page and Screen.

Taking place at the BFI Southbank – a fully accessible venue with step-free access from *most* tube lines at Waterloo – this event offers you the opportunity to combine some brilliant CPD for you with a London adventure with your babies.

Oxfordshire Winter Lunch Date

Wednesday 13th December, 11:30am onwards, Millets Farm Centre, Kingston Road, Frilford, Oxfordshire, OX13 5HB 

Join our growing Oxfordshire community for their winter meet up to meet other parent-teachers currently on parental leave, or balancing teaching and leadership with young families. 

There are Christmas displays galore and a soft play for your older children to blow off some steam as you enjoy a spot of networking with a warm and welcoming parent-teacher community.

Return to Work workshop

Prepare for a confident return to work with our December workshop.  We’ll share all the information you need about your legal entitlements, best practice, and how to get all your ducks in a row to ensure a smooth transition back to school.

We have phenomenal support from Teaching School Hubs, MATs and funders around the country for these workshops so it is highly likely that you will be able to claim a free ticket.  Why not give your local TSH / school group / MAT a shout out on social media to thank them for their support?

The January Thursday cohort of our Sustain and Grow group coaching programme begins today!

This is a programme to support colleagues over the immediate and extended return to work period.  If you’re back at work balancing a young family, with babies, nursery- or primary-aged children, this is the programme for you.

We’ll explore six key themes to support your personal and professional development, sharing practical tools that you can implement independently to sustain your career as a teacher, and even grow into your professional ambitions without squeezing out your family time.
