Returning to work following a period of maternity leave can be a nerve-wracking experience, exacerbated by the emotions surrounding leaving a small baby for the first time.
Our research into female teachers aged 30-39 also shows that the return to work experience can make the difference between a teacher remaining in education, or leaving the classroom altogether when they become a mother.
As well as detailing key legal information and sharing expectations of best practice, teachers will benefit from a coaching-style approach in this 90 minute workshop, which will empower them with a practical and emotional plan of action for their return to school.
