Supporting Returners Workshop

Aimed at middle leaders, senior leaders and line managers who have the biggest impact on the day-to-day experience of colleagues over the maternity and return to work period, this workshop outlines the relevant legal obligations of an employer to an employee according to the 2010 Equality Act, as well as the best practice encouraged by The MTPT Project.

This 90 minute workshop includes avoiding discriminatory behaviour or comments, policies and procedures that will ensure a high quality of provision for staff over the return to work period, and support that will enable a returning teacher to thrive whilst balancing their new personal commitments.

An absolute must for any line manager, middle or senior leader keen to retain and empower their staff when they become working parents.

Exploring the workshop as a school leader?
Group cost: £600 (maximum 30 participants)

Perfect for trusts or regional collaborations for groups of leaders, or to form part of an NPQ or leadership course, these workshops will help create compassionate, informed leaders and positive cultures in your schools.

Group workshops can be organised at a date convenient to the organising school.

Individual cost: £45
Member cost: £30

Line managers, middle leaders and senior leaders can self-fund, or request funding from schools to cover the cost of the workshops.
