Paid Coaching

We have a number of experienced and qualified coaches within The MTPT Project community who come highly recommended.  All of these coaches have supported the growth of The MTPT Project and adhere to its core values; however, as these parters are professional coaches, they do charge for their sessions.  As partners of The MTPT Project, they have a set cost of £100 per hourly session.

Coach: Cornelia Lucey, South London

Qualifications: MA Leadership (with a focus on Mindsets), MSc Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology

Experience: Coaching since 2010, Cornelia has worked with hundreds of teachers and seniors leaders to promote resilience, engagement and performance.

An experienced Senior Consultant and Coaching Psychologist, Cornelia draws extensively on leadership, change management as well as positive psychology approaches. She has worked with a wide range of public sector, charity and corporate organisations in the UK and the Middle East.

Cornelia is talented in improving individual, team and organisational performance through change management, business development and wider strategic projects. She also brings a track record in facilitation and was formerly a news journalist and is an ambassador of the Teach First leadership programme.

Coach: Mal Krishnasamy, Dorset

Qualifications: PGCE Secondary History, PgCert in Improving the Teaching & Learning of PSHE, ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching & Mentoring Certificate. Member of the Association for Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision. 


Mal is a former senior leader of ten years in a variety of London schools leading Teaching & Learning & CPD.  By keeping coaching at the heart of change management, she has transformed departments & organisations.

She is now an independent education consultant, coach and trainer, having retrained as an Executive Coach whilst on maternity leave. She specialises in leadership development, introducing coaching in schools and 1-1 professional coaching.   Mal is also a coach for Middle Leaders on the Diverse Leaders Programme and Senior Leaders as part of Women Leading in Education.

She is a Regional Leader for WomenEd South East and the Dorset Advocate for The MTPT Project.

Coach: Charmaine Roche, Nottingham

Qualifications: Post Graduate Diploma Coaching

Experience: Charmaine entered the coaching and consultancy profession after making a life – changing decision to leave headship.

She rapidly established herself as a life coach specializing in leadership and management and achieved her post graduate coaching diploma in 2015 from Warwick University, with distinction.

Charmaine is also currently Regional Leader for WomenEd, supporting women who want to enter headship or become CEOs of their sector.

Coach: Naomi Ward, Hampshire 

Qualifications: PGCE Secondary English, MA in Media, Culture and Communication, CTI Trained Coach expecting to achieve CPCC (certification) in March 2018 

Experience:  Naomi spent 14 years as Secondary English Teacher, Head of English and Head of Faculty in South London State Schools. During this time, she had her three children.

Naomi is now working as an Education Consultant developing collaborative projects between schools and employers, as well as using coaching to enhance schools’ Careers Education.  As the editor of the #teacher5aday Handbook and journal, Naomi delivers training for enhancing and sustaining teacher wellbeing. She is also a Regional Leader for WomenEd in the South East.

As a coach, Naomi works with Leadership teams in the South East as well as with apprentices and students. She is inspired by supporting others to connect with the full expression of their authentic selves.

Coach: Hannah Wiggins-Thirkill, Surrey 

Qualifications: B.A. Hons, PGCE, QTS, Part of Gold Coachmark team

Experience: Teacher and Lead Coach in an outstanding school

The Coachmark award is a national quality mark for coaching in education, similar to CQC or an Ofsted grading specifically for the coaching provided at that institute.  Hannah’s school also contributed to developing the original Coachmark programme.

Coach: Dr. Lindsay Joyce, Berkshire

Qualifications: MEd Psychology and DEdPsy (Doctorate in Educational Psychology)

Experience: Lindsay is a registered psychologist who has been coaching since 2010. She has worked with hundreds of teachers and seniors leaders to promote resilience, engagement and performance. She is also a sought-after facilitator, trainer and keynote speaker in the field of resilience, has spoken at international conferences, and has worked with corporate and public sector clients in the UK and Ireland to support their resilience and performance. Lindsay is a former ‘people and change’ consultant, and an ambassador of the Teach First leadership programme.
